Roy Ramm - Chairman
Former Commander of Specialist Operations at New Scotland Yard, Roy also headed the Serious and Organised Crimes Branch, the Flying Squad, the Fraud Squad and the Firearms Response units, and established the Undercover Operations Unit during his police service.
He led the Yard’s hostage response, was Director of Negotiator Training and has advised the United Nations, national governments and police forces globally on policing and security issues. Roy has worked extensively in Europe (including Eastern Europe and the Russian Federation), the USA, Asia and the Caribbean.
A graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, Roy is a regular contributor to the media on crime, terrorism and security issues.
John Lewis - Managing Director
John served as a Detective Chief Superintendent at New Scotland Yard. A widely experienced investigator, he is also a trained hostage negotiator and was Director of Detective Training for the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
As Police Adviser for the Bahamian Government for four years, John was responsible for the establishment of The Royal Bahamas Police Force Detective Training School and oversaw major force reviews and change programmes. He has similar training and educational experience in the Philippines.
John has experience in contract negotiation, delivery, reporting and management at the highest level within governments.
Neil Miller - Director
Neil has been an investigations consultant for ten years and has advised many major organisations on fraud and intellectual property investigations; surveillance; computer forensics; due diligence; asset profiling, tracing and recovery. He has extensive case experience and has conducted a wide range of investigations and intelligence gathering into commercial crime here and abroad.
A trained senior analyst with the i2 forensic software, Neil is a regular contributor on fraud prevention to media publications.
Neil is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Institute of Risk Management, Anti-Counterfeiting Group and the London Fraud Forum.
James Ramm - Director
James trained as a lawyer and gained commercial experience in the insurance industry before moving into corporate investigations eight years ago. A tenacious commercial investigator with flair and determination, he has wide experience of brand protection investigations, surveillance and undercover operations.
James leads CSi’s work on investigative software and technology.
He is a regular contributor to brand protection presentations and industry white papers and is also an active member of the Anti-Counterfeiting Group's Brand Protection Group.
Shelley Heslin - Office Manager
Shelley is CSi's highly regarded Office Manager and is responsible for the preparation, organisation and control of finance, HR and communications.
Alex Roberts - IPI Manager
Alex has been an intellectual property investigator for several years and excels in the investigation of trade mark use and infringement, test purchase programmes, due diligence and research. Alex now manages the IPI and Employee Screening Divisions.
Chris Wood - Senior Developer
Chris has been a leading software programmer for eight years and manages the development of CSi's investigative products Watchdog, Guardian and ProScreen.
